I am strongly pro-life, having done a good amount of research on the subject and having spoken with people on both sides of the issue. I fully believe abortion is the worst crime anyone could commit against another human. The victim is innocent and defenseless, and depends completely on his/her mother. The mother, too, is very often a victim. Both parties involved need support. (Of course, ectopic pregnancies are a different matter altogether).

Many abortions are pushed upon women and young girls by selfish boyfriends, peers and parents. Other times it is because of misinformation given to the pregnant mother or simply the fact that nobody has ever told them the truth. The term "rape" often pops up. Quite simply, rape is no excuse to kill an innocent party. The rapist ought to be severely punished and the victim needs as much help as she can get, but destroying the baby is only going to worsen the situation. It is a statistical fact that the chance of a mother committing suicide after an abortion increases by 600% (i.e. she is 6 times more likely to kill herself than she was before the abortion).

"Foetuses are not human" – tell a lie often enough and anyone will believe it. The media and the people in control of the education systems are well aware of that power.

What I find strange is the fact that abortionists themselves admit openly that, "yes, I am killing a child", and yet some pro-abortion people claim it is not a human life. How can these people know better than the doctors who perform the operations? The next question that the doctors are asked is, normally, "How can you do such a thing?" The answer is always the same: Money. Abortionists are paid a lot of money to do these things. Large amounts of money often helps to dull the conscience.

If you are interested in this important topic, I would say look into the side effects of abortion. They are truly shocking. The women who die in the operating theatres from mishaps and mistakes during the operations are never mentioned by the media.

Think about this: Pro-lifers have nothing to gain by being pro-life. All they get is abuse. What motivates these people then?
Science has proven that a foetus (Latin for "little one") is a human life. That is enough reason for them to stand up for the defenseless ones.

Expecting mothers need support – not pressure.
